PLEASE NOTE: About a month ago, after I posted about Jeff Dunham and his ventriloquist show we attended, I mentioned that his holiday special [of which we got a 'sneak preview' at his Corpus Christi Performance in October] would be aired on cable’s Comedy Central….remember? Well, some of you wanted to be reminded about it. Tonight it is on TV – his new holiday special. It’s On Comedy Central. 8PM Central Time [USA]. It’s hilarious. Of course there will be the same repeated throughout the rest of the month…check the TVGuide clip I’ve posted here…it can be enlarged.

Oftentimes I’m wondering what happened to a certain someone. Either a long lost friend or a classmate, or maybe a celebrity. Do you remember the program of ‘our’ youth, Leave it to Beaver? I thought Tony Dow was gorgeous when I was a kid! Yet, his whiny voice tho…so, not man enough for me. Even back then! rofl

I read a little excerpt from the internet email account after I closed my emails, and it had the two names “Tony Dow” in the line…I was immediately curious and clicked:

In Yah** News: In this image released by Blair Hayes, a bronze abstract sculpture of a figure of a woman holding a shield created by actor Tony Dow, titled, ‘Unarmed Warrior,’ is shown. Dow, best known for his role as Wally Cleaver, in the ’50s TV series ‘Leave It to Beaver,’ will have one of his abstract sculptures on display at the Louvre from Dec. 11 to Dec. 14. I really kinda like this piece of abstract! It shows a lot of interest and to me, some vivid imagination. Love the title he chose also!

Anthony “Tony” Lee Dow (born April 13, 1945 in Hollywood, California), is an American film producer, director, sculptor, and a TV child actor of the 1950s and 1960s. Dow is best known for his role in the television sitcom Leave it to Beaver, which ran in primetime from 1957 to 1963 and in which he played Wallace “Wally” Cleaver, the older son of June and Ward Cleaver (Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont), and the brother of Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver (Jerry Mathers).

Mary at Mary’s Writing Nook sent me these three awards through the email. I had forgotten to post them, and thankfully she reminded me! I don’t know how I missed them, but I did. Truly a Senior Moment on my part. None-the-less, I do appreciate the accolades. You’re a terrific lady and good friend, Mary. I apologize for not getting them up sooner than today. Thank you kindly for your generosity and thinking of me!!

Then to end the blog for Sunday today, I’d like to present this award to Lady Katherine. I think it speaks for itself…Katherine, you rock!!! To pick up and save the award, just click on it and it should open, enlarged, then you can save it it you would like!

Bidding on Ebay sometimes is frightening. How often have I went in to do a search for some item that is one ‘one of a kind’…or perhaps and item that ‘is hot’; a collectible? For instance, months ago when The New Yorker came out with the controversial cover of Michelle and Barack dressed in garb such as to give the artistic influence of terrorists or Arabs? Remember that one?

Well, throughout this hick town, not too many establishments carry something quite as ‘intellectual’ as The New Yorker. And we only have one really ‘good’ bookstore. Other than Walden’s Books [Walden's has since closed its doors for good] found in the main mall, we have Barnes and Noble. Both were sold out within hours of putting the magazine on the shelf.

Well, when it comes to ‘collecting’ collectibles such as this [magazines and newspapers store flat, lol] I tend to want what is the ‘hot item of the day’. Which back then, this particular magazine was. I even called my sister in Colorado, and our son in Houston [our daughter lives in more of a 'hick town' than we do if you can believe that, so I figured that was a fruitless effort]. To no avail. All over Houston, sold out. As with Colorado…she went to Grand Junction and around her city also…nothing, sold out.

My next step was Ebay. Tho some where ‘reasonably’ priced with bidding, I was always beat out at the last minute…even when I set a ‘maximum’ bid. After a week or two of trying, I just gave up on the whole idea.

- – -

Then, watching CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in the afternoon here, the next hot item is the November 8th’s issue of Time Magazine. A Commerative Issue. Rumors on that program said throughout the north east and along the eastern seaboard, the magazine was being sold out within minutes of putting them out. He, Wolf, said to us viewers “It would probably be a better bet to buy online.” Well, Time won’t just let any one person order any one magazine, you need to buy the subscription. Nope, not me…my mail box is already filled with subscription papers and hubby’s government magazine issues daily. For two days now, if we were out and about as usual, we stopped by the bookstores…they haven’t got their shipment in yet was the story we’d hear. Okay, so then, I thought “Try Ebay”. Ummmmm, ya right! When the bid starts at $24 something?! Sure it’s a collector’s item, I can see the point…but have you bid against some of these lunatics? ….[kidding on the lunatics...just me being sarcastic]…. Anyway, I’ve learned to shy away from the bidders ever since the older issue of The New Yorker went for ‘sky high’ prices. I’d like to have the Time issue for November 8th tho.

After being scared looking through Ebay, I decided to try one more time with Barnes and Noble since it’s the closest to our home.

One ringie dingie.
Two ringie dingies.
Connection made.
“Thank you for calling Barnes and Noble….yada, yada, yada.”
Music.
More music.
“This is Chris, may I help you?”
My mind is saying “No, we sold out of them already”….but I ask anyway.
“Do you have the November 8th issue of Time Magazine?”

“We just put them out, let me check, I’m real close to the magazines.”
More music.
Chris comes back online.
“It’s the Commerative Issue, yes we have just a few left. But, we do have them.”
My heart leaped in high speed.
I slide down the phone guard and walk into the living room where Bud was.

“I’m going to B&N…wanna come with?”
“Nah”
“Okay I’ll be right back”.

I drive down the freeway, get to the parking lot…realize I still have my shorts on and beach shoes…oh well. Walk in….the line at the checkout stand was a block long…the patrons each have 3 or 4 issues in there hot little hands [my first thought was potential Ebay sellers]….oh no! They’re gonna be gone! I felt it in my bones.

I spied a few. Grabbed only one. I’m not greedy.
Stood in line for a while, got up there…paid for my collector’s issue and left.

But after all that said, I have a question.

Have you ever felt you overbid on something through Ebay? Then, felt a bit like a crazy person in the interim for bidding too high?

We’d make a great leading couple, don’t you think?

- – -

Since I love movies, and watch them more than anything on television at any given time, I saw this new beta quiz on someone’s sidebar the other day and wanted to try it. I thought it’d be fun to have Bud show me just who my ‘leading man’ would be from his answers to the quiz—I’m ‘married to’…….

Your result for The Classic Leading Man Test…

Jimmy Stewart

You are the fun and friendly boy next door, the classic nice guy who still manages to get the girl most of the time. You’re every nice girl’s dreamboat, open and kind, nutty and charming, even a little mischievous at times, but always a real stand up guy. You’re dependable and forthright, and women are drawn to your reliability, even as they’re dazzled by your sense of adventure and fun. You try to be tough when you need to be, and will gladly stand up for any damsel in distress, but you’d rather catch a girl with a little bit of flair. Your leading ladies include Jean Arthur and Donna Reed, those sweet girl-next-door types. [Oh oh...sweet cheeks...you didn't do your choosing for a leading lady well....well, read on down, you'll see!]

Then, to turn the other cheek so to speak, I took the ‘leading lady’ quiz to see who Bud’s leading lady is:

Your result for The Classic Dames Test…

Barbara Stanwyck

You’re a tough dame, a bit of a spitfire, and you can even be a little dangerous, but you do it with such flair that almost all is forgiven (and even when it’s not, you’re still the most interesting woman in the room). You can be witty and charming, all right, but you have a tough streak that keeps you focused and sometimes deadly. You’ve had quite a climb to get where you are, but you’re a hard worker and you mostly deserve all you get…and then some. You might end up destroying everything around you, but you must admit…you’ve got style. Your leading men include Henry Fonda, Fred MacMurray, and when you forget yourself, Gary Cooper. [Ummmm, guess I didn't choose right either...but then again, think about it...with me being the spitfire, there is no room for two of us. So, ya, having a friendly boy next door is just the ticket...no competition that way. rofl!!!]

I so! dislike Daylight Savings Time!!!! LOLOLOL

On Friday, Bud and I took the entire day off and did nothing! We ended up at the beach. It was a gorgeous day [a couple of photos below within my poetry]. I took my book, [I have TWO more chapters still, to go, to finish the monster of a novel!] and I took my chaise lounge and just enjoyed the time of nothingness. It was a great few hours. Nothing can beat just sitting and enjoying the beauty of the shoreline. Then,…

Bud and I spent the whole day yesterday tearing down the outdoor decorations and packing away all the Halloween decor inside the house. Believe me when I say it was an all day’s job! For some reason, whether it’s the economy or whatever, there weren’t too many trick ‘r’ treaters the night before. We maybe, if lucky, had only 30 [if that many] guests come calling. We watched a Vincent Price movie…you know, he’s the king of macabre. A good fellow to watch on the night of all nights.
And I was so tired afterwards, I just flopped on the bed and slept. Not even reading. Atlas Shrugged, tho I wanted to finish it and move onto another book, [I've so many new ones to read lined up, that this 1100+ page novel by Ayn Rand is getting me back-logged in my reading of others] I didn’t get it completed yet!! It’s too good to put down and start another book. I MUST finish it before I get into another one…ya, it’s THAT good! Today, I tell myself, TODAY I will do nothing but read the last two chapters. I can’t wait to see how it all ends. I recommend this book to anyone.

But, in the meantime, since I’m not sleeping and wide awake —being daylight savings time has ended today, I’m up an hour too early. Dang!! Okay, so in the meantime, I felt poetic this morning with the two beach photos I’m sharing that I took with the cellphone this past Friday. I never, NEVER tire of just sitting and gazing out to the sea—

As I walk along the shore…
The surf hums a melody.
The ripples dance along with me.
Under the sun the tidal pool glistens.
I stop to consume the moment
… just to listen.

Under my feet the sand is shifting.
Beneath my toes the ebb is drifting.
Motion surrounds me. Still,
the minutes go by without me knowing
…as tho time is nil.
In the distance toward the horizon
The stream of sun’s light reflects upon the sea
The sky opens; a foyer to an everlasting door
God’s dazzling lights…his very own marquee.
…As I walk along the shore

This Creative Blogger award was handed down to me from a dear woman whom I’ve grown to admire. It’s a wonderful gift, and I can honestly say it means a lot to me. Katherine has given a great deal by blogging for us. She has given us strengths in her own words that can carry us beyond the downs and outs of life and give us hope. In so many ways. I thank you.

Katherine was tagged by Charlotte, and I figured I’d do the same…so, I consider myself tagged by Katherine. And, I write about six things I value and six things I don’t place any value on them….

THINGS I VALUE

1. My life. Period. There is nothing more than waking up to sunshine and another day!
2. And with my life, comes my family. My dear husband, Bud, who has been by side for over 40 years. My two children. My grandsons.
3. My abilities. Actually to be more specific, my God-given abilities.
4. My home, and the comforts of it, including what I call my own.
5. My computer. Yes, I place a value on the material thing, it’s a wonderful way that I have made so many friends through the years.
6. My four-legged best friends, and my good neighbors.

THINGS I DO NOT VALUE

1. Dishonest people
2. Corruption – be it business, government, society
3. Those that litter, and do nothing about it.
4. Cheaters and looters.
5. People who do things for others with expectations of something in return.
6. The rich, who think they inherited the earth.

Sandy at Flip Flop Floozie has awarded me with a choice of three awards on her blog the other day, I chose this one. Why? ‘Cause it’s pretty! rofl Thank you so much my dear friend. As I told you before, you’re a super lady! Being online friends with you has enriched my life. Thanks again.

- – -

And I received this most beautiful award from Mike! Mike, you really made my day. To have you think of me, and passing this on to me filled my heart with joy! Thank you, thank you. {ps…I LOVE butterflies!}

- – -

Ironic that I had drafted part of my Halloween treats Sunday blog, giving Merle a treat today…And I read in my comments from yesterday, that the dear Aussie friend has left me a gift also. If you haven’t visited Merle, she’s one of my favorite bloggers! She is just filled with life…and so so up and so positive. She is a darling woman! With receiving this from her, it just made my day so wonderful. I’ll pass it on to the others when I can…in the meantime Merle, thanks so much! I appreciate it. A lot!!!

<><><>

I received a FANGtastic gift in snail mail some days ago, and I’m just now getting around to posting the photos of what I received. LibertyBelle and I go way back. We’ve been online friends for years. And we both just have so much fun with Halloween. Granted she lives in Denmark and her country is now coming along and she is finding some Halloween things in her shops in her town. Which is so cool. We exchange snail mail cards, and during the month of October, the WHOLE month we send and receive emails and e-cards celebrating what the two of us are; “Witches in Arms”. I’m known as Wytch, and she is known as Levitating! Oh so much fun….

Tak!! You’re my favorite Witch. Trust me.

<>><><>

There are only a few more days ’til Halloween.
The last of the treats’ll be handed out,
and tho just another day, ’tis really quite so keen…
HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL! And to all a good day –I shout!

Here are the friends who will receive the Halloween treats from me today:

LibertyBelle
Gandalf & Grayson
P J
Puss n Boots
Merle

…and here is the treat:

If you see your name above, click on the treat and it’ll open in a new window, then click to save.

I’m not even going to attempt any meme playing today…..

Since early yesterday morning, I’ve had a bit of a problem with the computer’s cable modem. It’ll work for a few minutes, then…crash. I’ve been having to shut things down completely, reboot, and it’ll work…but again, only for a few minutes. So, I gave up. I’ll wait for the cable dude to come and see what the heck is wrong. I probably won’t get much of a chance to visit as I like to do.

In hopes of getting this out on the blog this morning, I will start the new week with a new Halloween Treat.

6:50AM [about an hour after I began creating the blog for the day]…DANG! It stopped on me again. In the middle of typing this up. Get on the phone…get through to the TWcable. They say: “Shut it all down, and reboot.” I do. “Your cable modem has you online now”. ::::crash:::: Then: “Okay, your modem isn’t on now.” Well, DUH, I say! Y’think? “That’s what I’m trying to tell you, it allows me to log on; get online, and then it goes completely off again.” Then, from the other side of the phone comes: “Wait 10 minutes, reboot the system.” I do…it comes on and then, a few minutes later…poof. No cable modem.

Okay, trying again to list some recipients of my daily treat. As I stated above, it begins a new week, a new ‘gift’.

Today it’ll be:

Hip Chick
Willa
Jams
Anna

If you see your name above, and you’d like to pick up your treat, just click on it to enlarge and then save from the 2nd window.

I will work offline today mostly, drafting a blog entry for the future, sometime next week on our Jeff Dunham show and get some photos up. In time, I hope I will be able to get back to my online routine and be able to visit again without everything crashing on me… [it's still working, so maybe I can get up the Sunday Sunrise/Sunset meme that I enjoy so much. I hope it catches on and others will participate 'cause there are a lot of awe inspiring 'paintings' in the sky!]

Here is a photo for that [keeping my fingers crossed that I can upload it before the cable goes bonkers on me ---]

In the last week or so I’ve had the pleasure of receiving two gifts in snail mail from online friends!! One gift I am going to show today as I opened the box. The 2nd one, I will talk about when it gets closer to Christmas. [the Christmas gift, you know who you are...but, even tho you allowed me to open it early, I want to wait and show it around the holidays!!] I love both gifts! They’re wonderful, and ‘so me’!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

This one gift came from Mary. She’s a doll! And when she emailed me to tell me she found something for me and was sending it…I couldn’t wait! I’m just like a little kid when it comes to packages in the mail! And this package from Mary was so much fun!! Just look at what all I got —

I couldn’t wait to get it opened! I know the saying that good things come in small packages…I just knew it was going to be good! Mary knows me all too well. Oh bubble wrap…COOL! I must confess that she had me going while emailing back and forth. Her one and only clue was part of it was black with green. And she thought of me when she found it [I hoped that meant a good thing]…
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!! Mary, you shouldn’t have! Why, Bud…isn’t this the cutest ever? Bud? Come here! Look at this adorable Halloween witch! Oh boy, oh boy…and it even is musical…oh dear…her eyes glow in the dark and flash!! Cool!! I love Mary! I love Halloween. She’s going to go sit up on the entertainment center with all my others…she’s going to have good company!! Absolutely adorable!! Love her…and love your kindness, friendship, and thoughtfulness dear Mary.
Look at this, look at this! Would ya? Can you believe these? So cool!!! Witch’s gloves. How apropos! For me! The witch lover that I am. Mary…this had to be what you were teasing me with with the clues, right? Black, green, and when you saw them…you thought of me right away!! Yessiree. These ARE so me!! I love ‘em. And they will be donned on my little stubby fingers come Halloween too. But, in the meantime, they’re now draped on top of the entertainment center, right along with my witch collection. [insert a witch's cackle here] Ewwwwww, witch’s gloves! Gotta love it.
The coffee cup…I have quite a collection of cups, and Mary was gracious enough to think of me with this wonderful one. It has [In French - which I took in school for my 2nd language course] I LOVE CANADA!! —Je l’aime, merci beaucoup. C’était une chose très douce à faire pour moi Mary *I love it, thank you very much. It was a very sweet thing to do Mary!* Thank you, thank you once again. I’ve already used it a couple of times for my morning orange juice, and I can’t wait to use it on a winter’s night filled with hot, sweet, hot chocolate. Mmm, mmmm, mmm!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY!!!

Don’t forget…I’ll be showing and telling what I got from a long time dear friend I’ve known online for years! She too knows another one of my ‘passions’. Gosh, do these friends know me well, or what?

And finally, the Halloween Treats:

It’s a different week, and the treat again will be different. This week, it’s a bit on the ‘more Autumn’ kinda treat. With a little “Halloween flair” but more to do with Fall. I’m handing them out for commentors to my blog who leave ME treats this month with their kind words. Don’t be dismayed, I plan on handing them out daily. Only take them if your name appears for the day—

So, check back often, you’re name may show up here!
To begin my traditional fun, as I love Halloween, today the trick ‘r’ treaters are:

Grammy
Constance
Denise
Shadow

And the treat this week will be:

When your name appears above, if you’d like to save this, click on it to enlarge…you’ll then be able to grab the treat and run! Happy October, Happy Halloween.

My Sunday Snippet is filled with fun…and another bit of Halloween decor. First, being that it’s nearing our country’s election, this is all for fun—-
Sherry at Lipstick Election had this on her blog the other day, and I thought it was such a ‘hoot’…I had to try it. Y’all know the odd, unusual names for Ms. Palin’s children [Track *record*, Bristol *middle name, I know, just hasta be "Meyers"*, Willow *weep for me*, Piper *as in Hamlin?*, Trig *short for trigonometry*]. Have you ever wondered what YOUR name would be if she had bore you? Now, remember this is all for fun, not to be taken seriously!

Anyhoo….

Here’s mine, and then Bud’s.

I would have been named:
STRIKE – I get it…after hours of labor and I finally popped out, she’d say with glee “Strike? You’re out!!”

Bud would have been named:
Flack – Then, after Bud popped out from a rough 9 months of carrying him, she’d look at Todd and say “He gave me nothing but….Flak!”

You wanna know too, don’t you? I know you’re just itchin’ to get over to the Sarah Name Generator site, right? Come on….’fess up. Your curiosity is just about ready to explode. Okay, you twisted my arm hard enough, I’ll share also, like Sherry did.
Here Ya Go… [linked]
oh…, and let me know just what the heck she came up with on your birth day. It’ll be a hummer of a hoot, I’m sure!

…and Halloween, this I posted last year. I bought the witch’s shoe cookie jar in Tucson years ago, and then when we moved down here, I was flabbergasted to actually find a matching set of candle holders!

Today, I’m going to begin with handing our the Halloween Treats. They are only for those I choose, and those I choose are bloggin’ friends that leave me a treat in my comments during the month of October. Don’t fret, you just may find yourself on my list soon, I’m handing them out daily thru October…
And it begins a new week, so naturally, a new treat.
For Sunday, the handout treats for October goes to:
Sandy
Popping Bubbles
Nancy
Mar

And the treat this week will be:

If you see your name listed above, and would like to save this, click on it to enlarge…you’ll then be able to grab the treat and run! Happy October, Happy Halloween.
[Note...Bud and I will be out of town tomorrow all day, so my Monday treat hand out will be posted tonight with a prescheduled post at 5PM - "I hope it works!"]

My Sunday Memes below this ‘memorial’ –

In Memory of my favorite actor, Paul Newman. Died of cancer, Friday, at his home. Age 83. With his strong, classically handsome face and piercing blue eyes, Newman was a heartthrob just as likely to play against his looks, becoming a favorite with critics for his convincing portrayals of rebels, tough guys and losers. “I was always a character actor,” he once said. “I just looked like Little Red Riding Hood.” Newman had a soft spot for underdogs in real life, giving tens of millions to charities through his food company and setting up camps for severely ill children. Passionately opposed to the Vietnam War, and in favor of civil rights, he was so famously liberal that he ended up on President Nixon’s “enemies list,” one of the actor’s proudest achievements, he liked to say.
The Rest of the Story

He too was a strong believer in the Democratic Party of which I appreciated him even more.

This sunset photo on the Bayfront in the city was taken during the colder winter months. As with all winter sunsets, there are more mauves, purples, and pinks because of the ‘frost and ice’ in the atmosphere. I love the sun’s reflection on the water, peeking through the boats’ mastheads…and the ripple of the mastheads on the calm bay. Anyway, I always thought this would make a super jigsaw puzzle!!! CAN BE ENLARGED & open in a new window for the ‘full’ beauty of it all!

Politics again. I was sent this from the Obama for President, through my email, and I searched and searched for it on CNN’s website but was unable to find it. So I did a view source from my email and found the embedded code and wanted to share it here. For reasons of a grand uncertainty in our country and that has escalated world wide. The Wall Street Financial Crisis….

I’m wondering secretly just why McCain would even think of ‘bowing out’ on the campaigning for election because of all the hoopla and dire straits of the country’s and global crisis. Is he really needed to make the difference in Wall Street? Or is he more interested in he himself losing his invested gains in turn making the ignorant think he’s ‘for the people’? Question is: Do not the American voters AND the world leaders have a right to know just WHAT, as president, how both would handle not just this, but OTHER crises or country security or what’s in it as a whole for the next four years? What they would do? How the situation[s] would be handled. Mr. Obama’s press conference impressed me. Once again, he seems to be executive material. His words were promising…but of course, I must also say to myself: talk is cheap. Thing is…all the promises [on both parties, Republican and Democrat] has to go through congress for approval and in doing so, it may not be what you think it will be for our future.

Again, my very first thought of this [and Bud and I, years ago, predicted a fall-out crisis in the country's financial situation sooner or later; what with the housing costs skyrocketing and then insuring those 'expensive homes' in hopes of selling at a profit --or gasoline and fuel because of labor unions wanting more pay for less work...or oil companies' execs actually 'running the country' and price gouging...another Great Depression in the works] “Why should the American taxpayers flip the bill and bail the CEO and financial gurus out when the thing is –AIG -a huge insurance company- wants Americans to help them out”, when I hear things like “Allstate isn’t going to cover our damages from Katrina, Rita, and now Ike because it’s ‘An act of God’ or ‘This isn’t considered ‘living space’ because a garage-storage area holding washers, dryers, refrigerators, office supplies, etc. etc. was uplifted and blown apart with damage that was catastrophic, you don’t actually live in the area of the home”. Also, wind insurance along the coast of our great country is plain, downright, unaffordable to more than 90% of the population, so by no means do they, the home owners or apartment dwellers, have a satisfactory gut feeling when they watch storms off the coast heading their way.

Also, in my mind anymore, just plain and simple…”Why have insurance?” FEMA is no good. Insurance doesn’t pay. Banks are closing. Where do we go and what do we do? Again, why bail them out with OUR money? I LIKE WHAT OBAMA SAID IN HIS SPEECH!! He said in so many words, if the citizens bail out Wall Street, they will be treated as investors and get their money back. Sounds good on paper…but I still have doubts that congress would approve of such a burdensome atrocity of actually considering the tax payer. I’m compelled to ask this also: “Who has more knowledge of the American ‘commoner’? McCain? Who owns more homes than he can recall? Or Obama who has had to live as the ‘poor folk’, struggling through the years?” John McCain may have more knowledge of military and diplomatic stance, but we as citizens of a growing poorer by the minute nation, need someone who knows more of economic crises, and is willing to talk to us and guide us through ALL situations, not just ‘war’ securities. Obama is for those who WORK and strive for a living, not how we can make the rich richer and forget the majority of us who have an American Dream…It’s his word that I stand by….

Also, my point on why do we buy insurance? Doling our monthly premiums for decades and not getting anything back when we actually need it? Why not just [if god forbid] there is damage to the house –why not just have the work done from a bidder/contractor up until you can finish yourself, and charge it —then make the ‘premium’ payments for TWO years instead of a lifetime like you’d have to do for insurance policies that are outdated within a year?

After watching the 1st televised debate on Friday night; once McCain decided he’d better show along with Obama….Obama said when he found out that McCain wanted to postpone or even step AWAY from the Friday night’s debate, because of the issue on Wall Street, that “We [meaning McCain or himself] as president, must be able to multi-task. Not step down from one crisis to avoid or ignore another.” But, the debate went on. And as I watched and nearing the end of the session, I felt that Obama was much stronger. McCain actually worked in circles, not even answering the questions given to them to respond to…He started out answering then, before his two minutes were up, he’d be telling the country just ‘who he knew here, who he knew there’…but evading on the issue of what he’d DO as president! We MUST move forward, not live off memories of what it was years ago. We are to LEARN by the mistakes of this country’s leaderships yes, but not relive it!! Anyway, the debate is shown in its entirety [in three parts] on my campaign blog which you’ll find the link on my sidebar. And afterward, I stayed around to see the reaction and watch the entailed polls skyrocket toward the favor of Obama!!!
