Our hostess has asked us to go and rule. Rule a country, rule the world, but rule. And she asks “What rule would you make – abolish the penny, or make coffee free.” I’d say to this: “Neither”. I even pick up pennies if I find them…and I DON’T DO COFFEE!! [ewwwww! just the thought] So, I’m breaking the rules of Fun Monday a bit. Hey, I’m ruler right? I’m not ‘into’ dreaming the fantasy life at all, I’m a realist. I can do this without any qualifying excuses, right? And still have some fun?—-

Her first rule for the country is to vote yay or nay. Be careful, remember…I rule!! Oh the consequences I could come up with if you don’t!!!!
On July 17th Ya*hoo N*ws posted an article. Actually I heard about it first on CNN news just the other day. And now since I have become ruler of my country, [men, women, and bloggers alike -as in BlogLand] I say, you MUST vote on this before you leave today. Beware if you don’t. That’s all I can say…this isn’t a threat…it’s my first command as ruler.
Anyway, the article is true. Only in San Francisco would they come up with this. Is it the wet, humid weather that is affecting them, or what? Perhaps it’s ’cause they’re so far up in northern California they get nose bleeds and lose all sanity? I don’t know. But I do say, now hear this:

SAN FRANCISCO –
- A measure seeking to commemorate President Bush’s years in office by slapping his name on a San Francisco sewage plant has qualified for the November ballot. The measure certified Thursday would rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant. Supporters say the idea is to commemorate the mess they claim Bush has left behind by actions such as the war in Iraq.
Local Republicans say they will oppose it. Y’all don’t suppose they think it’s a ‘stinky’ idea, do you? Reagan has his highways. Lincoln has his memorial. Washington has the capital, and a state, too. But President George W. Bush may soon be the sole president to have a memorial named after him that you can contribute to from the bathroom. Cool!!
